SUMMARY OF TASKS:
The Warehouse Supervisor provides effective leadership, supervision and direction of Warehouse Operations as it pertains to overseeing 3rd party service provider; Work closely with service provider to ensures the safe, efficient and effective operation of the warehousing functions, and ensures the accurate and timely picking, loading and delivery of customer orders.
*Shift work may be required as business operations are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provides leadership, direction and guidance as required to Service Provider Leads, Supervisors
• Ensures Food Safe best practices are implemented and adhered to at all times
• Ensures that safe conditions exist at all times within the work environment; work along with Service provider to takes appropriate and effective measures to insure the health and safety of any employees
• Continue to develop and fosters strong and effective relations between Saputo and service provider;
• Ensures the efficient and effective operation of the Warehouse with a view to ensuring that each customer's needs are met
• Prepares and completes communication reports, measurement reports, schedules, forms and other documentation as required and in a timely fashion
• Assists with preparation of department budget, monitors and controls costs
• Ensures security of materials and products
• Facilitates training and the application of the Warehouse Management System
• Supports and maintains Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P.'s quality standards
• Undertakes other functions and duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
• Post-Secondary education and/or strong working knowledge of operations management, business, transportation or warehousing preferred
• Working knowledge of the Nova Scotia Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Sound communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical skills and a strong team orientation
• High level of self-motivation and initiative
