SUMMARY OF TASKS: Saputo Dairy Products Canada is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor - Full Time for our Georgetown plant. Under the responsibility of the Maintenance Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for leading a team of trades employees, to ensure equipment is maintained efficiently, and kept in good repair, including and not limited to all mechanical, electrical, computer aided, and plumbing technologies used to manufacture, package, store and ship products. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist Maintenance Manager with Maintenance Department budget; • Plan, coordinate, assign and supervise Maintenance Employees' day-to-day activities; • Track and trend work order performance using MP2 • Ensure the availability of parts and appropriate tools; • Assist with capital preparation and monitor expenses; • Plan maintenance to ensure timely and efficient execution of maintenance; • Promote HACCP principles and plant sanitation; • Administer preventative maintenance program; • Maintain, in good repair, all production, packaging, storage, shipping and material handling equipment and machines as well as the physical plant; • Reduce equipment downtime and improve machine efficiencies; • Leadership/Coaching of maintenance personnel through pro-active communication, employee involvement, participation, individual feedback and reviews; • Implement and execute continuous improvement strategies within the facility; • Continually research and evaluate technological developments in the industry; • Develop sound relationships with internal and external customers; • Ensure that all work is performed safely while following Occupational Health and Safety, Workers' Compensation Board, and Company regulations and procedures. • Special projects as required or assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • Supports and maintains Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P.'s quality standards; • Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with OH&S, WCB and Company regulations and procedures • Effectively handle employee issues including progressive discipline, vacation, overtime, etc. • Administer Collective Agreement and Company Policies and Procedures; • Must have proven supervisory abilities and experience to engage a team of senior shift engineers. • Must be willing and available to support operations within in a 24/7 operation • Mechanical and technical aptitude • Preventive Maintenance Planning experience • Proven communication and inter-personal skills • Ability to maintain accurate written records and documentation • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills LI-DNI
